The Tiger Foundation:  This organization's mission is to help prevent the extinction of wild tigers through cost effective, pragmatic and hands-on field programs.

  Save China's Tigers:  A new organization dedicated to establishing wildlife reserves for the preservation of South China Tigers (and many other endangered species) in the wild.

Tiger Missing Link Foundation:  "The mission of Tiger Missing Link Foundation is conserving genetic diversity and eliminating inbreeding of captive tigers, creating public awareness of the tigers plight and providing rescue services for big cats that have been abused, neglected or displaced."

International Society for Endangered Cats (Canada): Focusses on conservation of the smaller species of wild cats.

The Cat Specialist Group:  The Cat Specialist Group consists of the world's leading scientists and wildlife managers involved with the 36 species of wild cats in more than 50 countries. It is one of over 100 similar groups of scientists and other specialists from all over the world forming part of the the Species Survival Commission of the World Conservation Union (IUCN).

Asian Conservation Awareness Program (ACAP): A message from Jackie Chan

WildAid (formerly Global Survival Network):  WildAid provides immediate assistance and builds for long-term protection for wild animals and their habitats. 

Wildlife Protection Society of India:  Working to protect Indian wildlife against illegal trade.

EIA - the Environmental Investigation Agency: Spearheading international efforts to protect endangered species such as tigers, bears, rhinos, elephants, whales, dolphins, porpoises and wild birds.

Kalahari Raptor Centre:  Situated on a 600 hectare private game reserve in the Kalahari Plains in South Africa, the KRC has several principal functions:  to care for injured and orphaned birds of prey and small mammals; to educate people, especially children, about wildlife; and to buy up and preserve habitat for wild species. 

WWF - World Wide Fund for Nature : The world's largest and most experienced independent conservation organization - in Canada and the U.S. known as World Wildlife Fund.
