Petition to the United Nations

In view of the fact that the tiger in the wild is entering its Age of Extinction, and the same threat faces thousands of other plant and animal species, the International Year of the Tiger Foundation and we, the undersigned, petition the United Nations to declare the next 10 years, starting in 2008, as "The International Decade of Endangered Species," with the tiger as a symbol of the entire conservation effort.
