Belinda Wright, executive director of WPSI. Author, wildlife trade investigator and tiger defender extraordinaire.  Producer of the all-time popular National Geographic documentary "Land of the Tiger."

Ashok Kumar  was Vice-President of the Wildlife Protection Society of India until 2001.    He worked tirelessly on behalf of  tigers.

A former director of Traffic-India, he was instrumental  in the largest-ever seizure of tiger bones, almost 500 kg of them from up to 50 tigers in 1993.

Mr. Kumar is presently a Trustee and Senior Advisor of the Wildlife Trust of India, an organization committed to urgent action and crisis management to prevent the destruction of India's wildlife.

Notorious wildlife trader, Sansar Chand, has been involved with this lucrative black market for many years. There are many cases pending against him and WPSI is working tirelessly to bring him and others like him to justice. In the meantime, he is free to continue the family business of profiteering from the plunder of India's precious wildlife.

See the Wildlife Protection Society of India's Website for more information.
