ACAP Launch in Vancouver

Our tiger helped launch the Asian Conservation Awareness Program (ACAP) Canada in Vancouver in June 1997.  ACAP is a cooperative educational program which aims to directly influence the attitudes of consumers of endangered species.
ACAP was launched with a wildlife art exposition at the Plaza of Nations. Shown here are Peter Knights of the Global Survival Network (now WildAid) with the Victoria President of International Year of the Tiger Foundation.
Victoria chapter president with Dr. Sunny Lee of the Canadian Chinese Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturists Society
